Morley Library has a special collection on the second floor to help those interested in researching family genealogy and local history.
The Genealogy & Local History Room is available by appointment only during regular library hours. To make an appointment, email genealogy@morleylibrary.org. Please note that the library does not have genealogical or local history researchers on staff.
If you are requesting an obituary, please send it to the above email address and include the name, date of death, or date of publication in which it appeared as our obituaries are indexed. Please limit each request to 5 obituaries per email. If you are requesting a newspaper article on a particular topic, please provide an exact date of publication as these are not indexed and are not searchable by topic.
**Please be advised that staffing is part-time only, so replies to requests may take up to a 3 - 5 business days. We will complete your request as soon as we are able in the order in which it was received in the queue. Thank you for your understanding.
