Morley Library has a special collection to help those interested in researching their family genealogy and local history.

As of Monday, June 28, 2021, our Genealogy and Local History room will be open to the public for drop in independent use. Please note that due to current pandemic staffing levels, we can provide limited assistance by advance appointment only. Appointments can be scheduled by calling the reference department at 440-352-3383.

The menu to the left is a list of materials that can be used in doing local research for the Lake County area. Lake County was a part of Trumbull County (1800-1806) and Geauga County (1806-1840) and Cuyahoga County (Willoughby only, 1810-1840).
