Winter Storytime Schedule

Registration begins Monday, January 2nd, and storytimes begin the following week on Monday, January 9th. Winter storytime session runs for 7 weeks. Click on the times below to register for a storytime starting January 2nd. 

Toddler Tales:


For children 3 years old and younger. Child attends with caregiver. Join us for stories, songs, flannelboards, and a craft especially for little ones. Help children develop a life-long love of reading and the Library. Winter storytime session runs for 7 weeks, however there is no storytime on MLK, Jr. Day or President's Day as the library is closed.

Monday with Miss Jillianne 10:00AM - 10:30AM

Baby Bookworms:


For babies who are not yet walking and their caregivers. Enjoy one-on-one lap time engaging in stories, songs, rhymes, fingerplays and more. 20 minutes of stories, songs, etc. followed by 10 minutes of playtime and caregiver interaction.

Tuesday with Miss Robin 10:00AM - 10:30AM

Books at Bedtime:


For children 18 months through 5 years. Child attends with caregiver. Join us for a bedtime storytime! Kids can wear their PJs and cuddle with a stuffed animal. Stories, songs, a flannelboard and a craft are included. Winter storytime session runs for 7 weeks, however there is no storytime on MLK, Jr. Day or President's Day as the library is closed.

Music in Motion: 

For children 2 through 5 years. Child attends with caregiver. The focus of Music in Motion is stories, rhythm & music, and it is geared towards active children! Winter storytime session runs for 7 weeks.

Wednesday with Miss Jillianne 10:00AM - 10:30AM

Preschool/Kindergarten Storytime:

For children 3 years to 6 years. Child attends without a caregiver. Join us for a storytime with a special focus on early literacy skills. Stories, songs, a flannelboard, and a craft are included. Winter storytime session runs for 7 weeks.

Thursday with Miss Joya 10:00AM - 10:30AM

Stories & S.T.E.A.M:

Kids ages 6-8 can explore stories and more with science, technology, engineering, art, and math in this fun after-school program. Caregiver must stay in the building but does not attend with the child.

January 13—Bottle Flipping Science

What do you  think is the best water level for bottle flipping?

January 20—Hot Chocolate Science

Which temperature of water will dissolve hot chocolate the quickest? We will be enjoying hot chocolate and cookies this week!

January 27 and February 3 —Hour of Code

We will be  in the computer classroom, which is located in the basement of the library.

February 10—Balancing Robot

We will make a paper robot that you can balance on one of your fingers.

February 17—How are Germs Spread?/Why We Need to Use Soap!

Why do we need to wash our hands? How are germs spread?

February 24—Popsicle Stick Catapults

We will be making catapults out of popsicle sticks, rubber bands, and a plastic spoon.
